A SINGLE SPA BED MARKED THE BEGINNING OF SHANGPREE
Shangpree started with one spa bed in a small room at Nakseongdae in 1990. Now recognized as “the pinnacle of
Korean Skincare” by Forbes, Shangpree Spa has come to become the No. 1 spa in South Korea.
WE COMBINE TRADITION WITH TECHNOLOGY
Shangpree experienced the need to combine their aesthetic know-how from the Shangpree Spa along with
independent development of raw materials. For this very purpose the ‘Shangpree Dermatology Research Institute’
was established in 2016. The know-how on the manufacturing of cosmetics obtained by directly applying the
products to the skin of actual customers in aesthetic practices are the assets of the Shangpree Dermatology
Research Institute that differentiate it from other research centres.

SHANGPREE’S STEPS TOWARDS A GREENER FUTURE
Shangpree is currently undergoing a process of reducing the use of plastic in our containers and replacing the same
with glass. In the future, as a company we aim to work on our original intention and practices while keeping our
environments best interest in mind. Shangpree is passionate about both people and nature and hence have been walking hand in hand with Korea Green
Foundation while continuing to manufacture quality products for our customers. We have been with the Environment
Foundation for 12+ years and offer a portion of the proceeds from the purchase of Shangpree products to the
foundation. In 2014 we were awarded the Green Planet Awards and during this time we expressed our gratitude to
those who have been with us for their support and participation in resolving a multitude of environmental problems.
We have also been participating in other activities across the globe such as supporting well-digging activities in
Cambodia, solar light projects in Asia, global eco-campus sponsorship and mangrove forest restoration campaigns.

The ‘2020 Brand of the Year’ awards, which identifies brands that led consumer trends and
received attention and love from Korean and Chinese consumers, recognized 8 brands as
‘Brand of the Year Picked by Chinese Consumers’ at its awards ceremony this year. In an online
vote, 980,000 consumers nominated 7,210,000 brands. Out of these, SHANGPREE was chosen
as a definitive brand in the UV Sunscreen and Eye Mask categories.

On April 21st
, SHANGPREE received the ¥100M(CNY) Brand Award in the International Category
at the 'TG 1000 Tmall 2020 Global Partners Summit', hosted at Alibaba HQ in Hangzhou, China.
SHANGPREE gathered much acclaim for its sales, popularity, and other criteria, and was honored
with the 2020 Tmall International Category ¥100M(CNY) Brand Award', following the ‘2018 Rising
Star Award of Year'.

SHANGPREE Marine Energy Eye Mask saw a record number of sales on the Chinese Single's Day
holiday, ranking No.1 in sales in the Eye Mask Category on Tmall, Alibaba group's e-commerce
platform. Also, it came in 6th in sales among 65,000 K-Beauty brands listed on Tmall, where its
'Phyto Essence UV Sunscreen' was sold out in just 1 hour, netting an extraordinary sales record
for SHANGPREE.

SHANGPREE was awarded the 2018 Rising Star Award of Year' title at the 'TG 1000 Tmall 2018
Global Partners Summit', attended by Tmall's key officials and buyers in Hangzhou, China.
SHANGPREE received public attention for its rapid brand growth after joining Tmall sellers in
August 2017, especially for its inclusion in the top 10 most-selling Korean brands on Single's
Day, the largest shopping spree event in China.

Jeon Hee-Hyung, the CEO of URG Incorporation, was awarded the Gold Tower Order of Industrial
Service Merit at the commemoration ceremony of the 54th National Trade Day, hosted by the
Korea International Trade Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and
Energy. South Korean President Moon Jae-in attended the ceremony and 2000 industry trade
related government officials, trade association representatives, and distinguished people of
commerce. For its efforts in pioneering overseas markets and expanding global exports, URG was
conferred the most honorable Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit as well as awards in
4 other categories.

The 'K-Beauty Editor's Choice' is a list of products displayed at the K-Beauty Expo, judged by
international media outlets and awarded for innovation and noteworthiness. The beauty editor
overseeing the judgement process this year observed that "out of over 400 cosmetic brands at
this expo, SHANGPREE's exceptional product quality was what contributed the most to the
brand's high score."

The Harrods Department Store selects products with high customer satisfaction every month and
displays them in its magazine. 'SHANGPREE Gold Hydrogel Eye Mask' was featured in the
November issue's High FIVE editorial; Harrods' beauty editor mentioned this product as "the
latest in a series of innovative beauty formulations created in Korea."

The '2015 Premium Brand Awards Selected by Female Consumers' is an annual event hosted by
Hankyung Business Magazine, an important marker in gauging consumers' purchase satisfaction
and quality of life improvements. This year, 3,852 female consumers of ages 20 and older were
asked to give preference ratings of 520 brands. Among these, SHANGPREE scored the highest in
the color cosmetics category.
